Administrative support

We are looking for one individual to support with miscellaneous administrative support. This role will vary depending on ongoing needs. This might include creating surveys or spreadsheets, supporting the administrative organization of events, reviewing newly-written policies, scheduling and taking notes in meetings, and other needs as they arise.

This role is for you if:

  • You have excellent administrative abilities, particularly with Google Drive
  • You are a jack-of-all-trades who is interested in learning more about all aspects of the league to support its operations
  • You are able to attend monthly Collective meetings to take notes, as well as schedule those meetings and distribute those notes afterwards (about 1-3 hours per week)
  • You can support in the basic administrative planning of the Annual General Meeting

We endeavour to provide PTSL with a Collective that is representative of our members – all PTSL players of all intersectional identities are welcome on our leadership team. We will give preference to those who have played at least one season in PTSL, BIPOC individuals, and any members who have noticeably demonstrated the values of the league both on and off the field. Most importantly, we’re looking for members who exemplify league values of inclusion, collaboration, willingness to both learn and teach others, and creating a welcoming space for all members of our community, regardless of athletic ability or skill.

Collective members meet once a month for 2-3 hours. Members are asked to attend a minimum of 75% (9) of these meetings to support decision-making within the league. If you would like to take on one of the roles above but are unable to commit to monthly meetings, please let us know, and we are happy to accommodate and find a version of the role that will work for us all!
