We are a recreational soccer league of lesbian and lesbian positive women of diverse age, race, experience and athletic ability. The Pink Turf Soccer League (PTSL) Collective organizes and operates a league in which women can gain soccer skills,
and enjoy fitness and friendly competition. This league does not run itself. It does require that volunteers offer their time, knowledge or skill in order that pink turf continues to be a league. The PTSL is a non-profit sporting organization.
The registration fee of $100.00 covers the expenses of the referee, the uniform
(shirt and socks), the equipment (nets and balls) and organizing the season.
           
A number of women volunteer to organize and assist in the running of the PTSL.
All players are welcome to participate in meetings held during the season, or to volunteer ideas and time. If you have any comments, suggestions or concerns

LOCATION

Games are played at Withrow Park, which is on Carlaw Avenue, just south of the Danforth. Carlaw Avenue is one way street going south and is located between the Chester and Pape subway stations.

WHEN

We hope to begin the 2008 season on Saturday, May 10th and end by late September.
The game times will be between 9 am and 5 pm. Depending on the availability of the
field and the number of teams, games are likely to be scheduled on long weekends.

Soccer is a game that is played in the rain. It is the referee's decision to cancel a game.
This decision is made at the field.

HOW

Submit your completed and signed general release along with your registration fee as soon
as possible. Registration is accepted on a first come first served basis. Teams are organized
by distributing players according to self-identified skill level, position requested and expected commitment. A minimum of 20 players are assigned to a team, to a maximum of 25.
Any registrant that the league is unable to place on a team will be placed on a waiting list.
