We need your help
We are proud of a 37-year history of being a volunteer-run not-for-profit and would love to have more folx contribute to the league’s success! As the 2022 season wraps up – and with so many new faces becoming an integral part of the PTSL community – the Collective want to share a number of volunteer opportunities available. We are eager to welcome players, both returning and ‘new’, to contribute to the diversity of ideas and perspectives that help to create our league year over year!
We endeavour to provide PTSL with a Collective that is representative of our members – all PTSL players of all intersectional identities are welcome on our leadership team. We will give preference to those who have played at least one season in PTSL, BIPOC individuals, and any members who have noticeably demonstrated the values of the league both on and off the field. Most importantly, we’re looking for members who exemplify league values of inclusion, collaboration, willingness to both learn and teach others, and creating a welcoming space for all members of our community, regardless of athletic ability or skill.
Collective members meet once a month for 2-3 hours. Members are asked to attend a minimum of 75% (9) of these meetings to support decision-making within the league. If you would like to take on one of the roles above but are unable to commit to monthly meetings, please let us know and we are happy to accommodate and find a version of the role that will work for us all!
