2021 Season Cancelled

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel our 2021 season. While we were initially hopeful that some form of the league could operate this year, the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and the province’s current vaccination timeline have made it clear that there is no way to proceed with in-person activities that would guarantee the safety of our members.

We are looking into the feasibility of holding virtual events so that members can stay engaged with the community during this season. We will also be holding an AGM in the fall to go through the changes we’ve undergone in our not for profit reincorporation, as well as vote in our collective board. Where and when do you play?

Games take place every Saturday throughout the summer at Withrow Park in the east end of the city (Danforth and Carlaw, near Pape Station). Games are 90 minutes long, with the first game of the day starting at 9 am and the last game of the day at 3 pm.

We also run free practices every Monday from 6.30-8.30 pm at Withrow Park (except for long weekends) during the season.

Choosing a sign-up partner

While registering, players can sign up with a friend to play on the same team as them. The request is limited to one sign-up buddy and must be a mutual request. No groups are permitted to sign up together.

Our waiting list policy

Registration for this league is subject to availability. When we hit capacity (maximum 250 players), subsequent applicants are added to our waiting list. We usually pull 10-20 players from the waitlist throughout the season so there’s still a good chance you’ll get to play.

Players are allocated to teams as vacancies occur – this means that unfortunately, you can’t sign up with another player or request to be on a specific team.

Fees & sliding scale

The fee for the season is $125 per player. This includes the cost of your team jersey, referee and pitch fees, and a ticket for the end of season banquet. Your place is only secured once your fee has been e-transferred. (Cash and cheque will also be accepted on registration night.)

Refund Policy

Until March 30th players: are entitled to a full refund.

Until July 1st players:  are entitled to a partial refund (TBD).

No refunds are given after July 1st.

We kindly ask that players withdrawing from the league notify their captain and advise the league by emailing to request a refund.
