Pink Turf Soccer

Registration night
Upstairs @ O'Grady's Pub
20 February 6.30pm-10pm
518 Church St, Toronto, ON M4Y 2C8

We’re gearing up for the start of our 35th season, and we’re starting the celebrations on Thursday 20th February with Registration Night.

Come join us upstairs at O’Grady’s Pub on Church Street and grab a drink with players old and new. We’ll also have some sample jerseys for you to try on.

Can’t make it in person? We’ll be opening online registration on 21 February via the Pink Turf website.

Where and when do you play?

Games take place every Saturday throughout the summer at Withrow Park in the east end of the city (Danforth and Carlaw, near Pape Station). Games are 90 minutes long, with the first game of the day starting at 9 am and the last game of the day at 3 pm.

We also run free practices every Monday from 6.30-8.30 pm at Withrow Park (except for long weekends) during the season.

Choosing a sign-up partner

While registering, players can sign up with a friend to play on the same team as them. The request is limited to one sign-up buddy and must be a mutual request. No groups are permitted to sign up together.

Our waiting list policy

Registration for this league is subject to availability. When we hit capacity (maximum 250 players), subsequent applicants are added to our waiting list. We usually pull 10-20 players from the waitlist throughout the season so there’s still a good chance you’ll get to play.

Players are allocated to teams as vacancies occur – this means that unfortunately, you can’t sign up with another player or request to be on a specific team.

Fees & sliding scale

The fee for the season is $125 per player. This includes the cost of your team jersey, referee and pitch fees, and a ticket for the end of season banquet. Your place is only secured once your fee has been e-transferred. (Cash and cheque will also be accepted on registration night.)

We are committed to making Pink Turf financially accessible to everyone in our community. If you find yourself in a situation where you are eager to join, but the membership cost is problematic, please email us confidentially at to discuss our sliding scale or deferred payment options.

Refund Policy

Until June 1st players: members are entitled to a full refund, minus the uniform cost ($25).

2 June – 20 July: members can request a partial refund of $50.

No refunds are given after July 21st.

We kindly ask that players withdrawing from the league notify their captain and advise the league by emailing to request a refund.
